IRONDALE
PUBLIC LIBRARY
Founded in 1951 as a small, part‑time library, the Irondale Public Library steadily grew through relocations, expansions, and county partnerships. Today it offers modern services, digital resources, and technology access to the community in its brand-new location. RULD was tasked with the landscaping and got to incorporate stormwater management through open stream beds and rain gardens, over 90% native plantings, wildflower meadows, designed the outdoor education pavilion and plaza and even a butterfly garden on the rear end of the property.
