VOLKER HALL, UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA AT BIRMINGHAM

UAB's Volker Hall, located centrally in downtown Birmingham, underwent a renovation that modernized the building and better integrated the site into the urban environment. The new atrium addition provides a modern look and feel to both the exterior and interior of the existing building. Renta Urban Land Design focused on formally incorporating the University building into the surrounding city block and highlighting the updated entryway.
